Irish Baking Book
These wonderful traditional recipes collected by Ruth Isabel Ross provide us with good, plain, wholesome cooking at it’s best.
Many of the recipes in this collection have been made in Irish homes for hundreds of years and the author has included recipes that were made for certain feasts and days such as Boxty, traditionally server on All Saints' Day, or Barm Brack , eaten on 1 February (St Brigid's Day) and on Halloween.
The last section is for simple 'no flour' bakes and includes savoury and sweet recipes.
