DBT's influence has grown and the author trains therapists worldwide.  Improvements include more detailed information on teaching the skills, more clinical examples, and more than 225 forms for tailoring treatment. Originally developed to treat BPD, DBT has been shown to treat a range of disorders involving emotion regulation.
