OUR JOURNEY
Compass Ireland was formed in 2002 as an Irish based independent book sales business. In 2012 Irish Books Direct was started as an online book retailer selling Irish books predominantly within Ireland. Read Ireland, which started in 1999, was then purchased in 2013 to further expand within the Irish book world. In 2015 both Irish Books Direct and Read Ireland were merged into our new venture BOOKS.IE
OUR MISSION
Our goal is to be a strong Irish based website selling books and related products to a predominantly Irish customer base, both within the island of Ireland but also to the worldwide Irish diaspora and people who love Ireland. ☘
