The Land Where Hate Began
Interwoven with some of the great Irish historical events, this is the story of descendant generations of several families through four centuries of turmoil in Ulster.
The characters in the story are members of Anglican, Presbyterian and catholic families and the novel represents their attitudes and influences of the eras in which they lived.
It is a story of great anger, of hatred, of savage fighting intermingled with softer episodes, romance and individual acts of generosity.
Above all this is a story which endeavours to explain the attitudes and outlook of unionism and nationalism in Ulster.
