Each meditation is like an open door, inviting the reader or the listener through insightful ways to connect, reconnect, with an experience of stillness. In a world filled with constant noise and distractions, discovering stillness is a sacred experience.
Each person invited to contribute to this book responded positively and without hesitation. Each practice is intentionally crafted and totally authentic. Deep personal, thought, reflection and inner wisdom can be sensed under the various themes. The essence of the Sanctuary is embodied throughout.
These meditations are for everyone – the beginner, long-time practitioner, all seekers and searchers. It can be used in a multitude of ways, arising from the ancient wisdom meditation traditions of focusing on the breath, through to reading, listening, journaling and reflecting. Our hope is that these meditations and poems will evoke a stirring of the heart, bringing the reader
into a closer relationship with themselves, the world we are all part of, and our God, offering a pathway into stillness where sanctuary can be found.
