The Barryscourt Trust was established in 1987 with the aim of conserving, enhancing and developing the heritage potential of the castle. The Trust instiuted a bianuual series of lectures on Medieval Ireland at the castle.
The lectures, included in this book, deal with aspects of medieval history, archaeology, art and architecture, and were delivered by scholars specialising in the period.
