Cúchulainn wanted to be remembered forever. The greatest of heroes, his powers were magical. No one could outdo him in strength, or ever win a race against him, or beat him in battle. He was invincible and tales of his deeds are still told. And perhaps the most famous of all stories is how Cúchulainn got his name.
