Muiris Ó Súilleabháin (Maurice O'Sullivan) tells his own story of his life on Blasket More and his life in the poorhouse in Dingle. The editor from the first edition once again oversees this edition according to the wishes of Muiris himself. The spelling is standardised but the language is alive. There is a lesson in that for many of us.
