Being a record of "D" Company of the 7th Royal Dublin Fusiliers

This is a 2002 reprint of the 1917 publication.

'I have been asked to write a forward for this book about the "Pals" of the 7th Service Battalion of the Royal Dblin Fusiliers. It is a pleasure to do so, as no more gallant battalion ever left the shores of Ireland. They were well trained and disciplined, with a high and patriotic sense of duty.

They covered themselves with glory on the 7th of August 1915, in their advance and subsenquent successful attack with the bayonet on Chocolate and Green Hills, and on many occasions, onto only on the Peninsula, but later in Serbia. For these deeds their name will ever stand high in the annals of the British Army...'

Lieutenant-General Sir Bryan T. Mahon, Commanding the Tenth (Irish) Division, October 21st 1916
