She begins by introducing basic quilting, binding and applique techniques, as well as detailing the materials needed. There are cosies to keep things warm and covers to protect and enhance valuables such as tablets and phones.

The projects range from the more traditional egg cosies, mug hug and tea and coffee cosies to covers for a toaster, sewing machine, bottle, tissue box, chair back and more. Clear step photographs are provided where needed and there are beautiful styled shots of the finished pieces.
